Hello Scholar,

Lately, I have been thinking about how far we’ve come as a community. Scholarchitchat started as a simple idea and vision to Ojay, to create a space where stories, experiences, struggles, and wins about funding and scholarships for postgraduate studies could be shared freely. Over time, it has grown into more than just a platform, it has become a hub for people passionate about learning, collaboration, and impact.

But growth doesn’t happen alone. Every milestone we have reached has been shaped by the hearts and hands of volunteers, people who believed in the mission and showed up with creativity, dedication, passion and vision. As we continue to expand our reach through Scholarchitchat and our sister initiatives, we’re opening our doors once again to welcome a Volunteer Project Coordinator into our team. You’ll play a key role in bringing initiatives to life, from brainstorming and planning to execution and evaluation.

So If you love organizing, creating impact, and being part of something meaningful, this might just be your next growth space. 

What You’ll Do

• Develop and support new ideas and projects that align with our mission.
• Organize programmes, research new concepts, and help move ideas from thought to action.
• Oversee project lifecycles, keeping the team connected and on track.
• Support proposal writing, grant requests, and budgeting.
• Collaborate closely with a dynamic team to deliver results and celebrate wins.

What We Need

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with project coordination or proposal writing.
• Curiosity, self-motivation, and a learning spirit.
• A passion for volunteering, sharing knowledge, and community building.
