You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
Why guidance can change your application outcomes

At this point, missing a Wednesday issue might be becoming a theme. This is the second time this year and it’s only May. At this rate, we may need to officially move to “whenever it comes, it comes.”
But here we are.
I remember how scattered things felt when I first started applying.
Too many tabs open.
Too many opinions.
Too many things to figure out at once.
I remember how isolated the process felt when I first started applying.
It was just me, my laptop, and a lot of tabs open.
Different schools. Different requirements. Different advice from different places. Some helpful. Some confusing. Some completely contradictory.
At some point, I wasn’t sure if I was making progress or just going in circles.
I would write something, feel good about it, then come back the next day and doubt everything.
One day I felt confident. The next day, I was second-guessing everything.
Was my CV strong enough?
Was my story clear?
Was I even applying to the right places?
It didn’t feel like progress. It felt like guesswork.
If you’ve been following this series, you already know a lot.
You know how to choose the right opportunities.
You know how to tell a clear story.
You know how to show your experiences.
You know how to make time and stay consistent.
You know when to stop and submit.
But here’s the part most people don’t talk about:
Doing all of this alone is hard. Not because you’re not capable.
But because it’s easy to:
overthink
lose direction
delay decisions
and settle for “almost ready”
At some point, you need structure.
You need someone to say:
“This works.”
“This doesn’t.”
“Focus here.”
That’s the difference between trying… and finishing strong.
So I decided to do something about it.

This month, I’m running a 4-week guided application bootcamp for a small group.
Not theory. Not generic advice.
We’ll actually work through your applications together:
selecting the right schools and programmes
structuring your CV and statement of purpose
refining your story and examples
getting your applications ready to submit
You’ll also get:
weekly live sessions
personalised document reviews
accountability groups to keep you moving
This is for people who are serious about getting it done this year.
Not someday. This year.

I’m keeping it intentionally small (20 slots), because this only works if it’s practical and hands-on.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to take this seriously, this is it.

Don’t overthink it.
You’ve already started the journey.
This might be what helps you finish it properly.
